Celebrites have completely lost it on these cargo pants. Insane. That utilitarian trend took off six months ago on the runways and now it’s landed in stores which is why olive green, camouflage and khaki is plastered in every store, trend forecast and on your best friend.
I love the colors and the way that cargo pants are so neutral and all of these amazing “it” bags and spring shoes can be worn with them. I also love that the fit of pants are exceptional. There are a lot of people who hate the harem look and would prefer something more tailored, which sits low on hips and looks sexy.
These Victoria’s Secret cargo pants are very similar in look and feel to the JBrand Houlihan cargo pant seen recently on Rihanna,wholesale Prada, Ciara, Rachel Bilson, Gwen Stefani, Khloe Kardashian and every princess on each coast. I love the way the pants are styled individually on each girl: with flip flops and loose tops, stripes with leopard pumps, fitted black shirt and fedora, boots with a washboard midriff and slouchy chic with a nice heel.

This month, London’s Central Saint Martins school—one of the globe’s best fashion training grounds—leaves its long-held Charing Cross Road building and moves to a new complex on Kings Cross. Style.com reporter Katharine Zarrella spoke with some of the school’s most distinguished alumni about their memories of the Soho space, running throughout the week. Today, Christopher Kane shares his thoughts.

“Going to school every day was fun despite the pressure and competiveness. That was the magic about Central Saint Martins—it was filled with such a diverse mix of people all competing against each other. It was pretty fierce. When I reached the MA, I was working with Professor Louise Wilson, which felt like the biggest achievement. She was, and still is, feared by every student for her forthright attitude to teaching. I was so prepared to be brought to tears in every class but instead, fortunately, that never happened. We became friends kind of straight away. But I did prank call tutors for fun.”
